In my memory my childhood was boring. What I need to do is to study and do my homework. But there is one thing I will never forget. It is Flying a kite with my father.
It is summer break But the temperature was not high on that day. I woke up and opened my window and you can feel the cool air gently touch your face. At first, I saw my father was packing a backpack and he said “ get ready we are going to fly a kite today”. Obviously my father has a good mood, maybe because of good weather.
Later, we arrived at a public park. This park has many birds and rabbits and it is huge. Next, we put all the parts together and ready to let the kite fly. We are waiting for the wind but somehow the wind just is not coming over. So we decided to do another way to let this pitiful kite fly in the sky. My father held the line and I held the kite, we kept about ten steps between and we started to run.
We have to sprint and use 100% of our energy but most important is we have to keep the same steps. We tried so hard and the kite was halfway to the sky but eventually the kite did not fly to the sky.
Soon I feel sad and I can not stop myself from crying. My father walks to me and says “no need to cry this is like life, you can not expect the best result but you can have the best effort.” It is surprising to me that my father knew philosophy in life and he tried to comfort me.
At last, we packed everything and walked back home and i have a free philosophy class. I mean it is good to know about how life is going but my father talked too much.
I also play the 🪁 with my brother. In my childhood,no iPad .😂

Hi Joseph- So was this a true story? Or something from your imagination… I never know with you because you are such a good storyteller that I believe it is true. Your father sounds like a smart man. I used to fly kites with my kids when they were little. They really enjoyed it, and I did too. I think flying kites is something that everyone likes.
