I like to read Healing Water it is not only because i have to read this book for my grade , it is because this book can healing your heart.
Yes, healing your heart is this book’s main purpose, not only for people who had leprosy and who was had bad experience in their life also for people who need been forgive. I did not expect this story will ending by Pia forgive of Kamaka.
I thought Pia will never forgive what Kamaka did to him. Especially when kamaka arrived at Molokai with his wife. This is really an attractive storyline. I am very worried about Kamaka’s situation. A series of questions come out of my head. Fortunately their friendship continued. Pia forgave Kamaka and forgive herself.

Hi Joseph! I agree with you. When Kamaka and his wife came to Moloka’i I thought Pia could not forgive Kamaka forever, so I thought in a negative way. Kamaka ignored Pia when he got leprosy, so he had his wife…. Finally, Father Damien appeared, and I kept reading the book, so I changed my mind and wanted them to be made-up friends.

Hi Joseph- I think the biggest difference between what we are experiencing with the Coronavirus is that we are all quarantined to our own personal Moloka’i! Being at home is like Moloka’i- although we have a nice house and plenty of food, and hopefully, we won’t die… Glad you liked the novel. 🙂
