There are many things I enjoy this class and the most important thing for me is I learned English grammar concepts. Many ESL instructors are focus on grammar skill such as grammar knowledge and memorize it but in this class is more focus on how to build a idea that student can realize grammar is daily use. Which is great thing to do this at least for me is good.
I am the student who do not have basic English knowledge. So, every time when i try to read or write there are lot of difficult for me. Use a wrong verb and do not know what is abject is. Professor Kym knew interest is more important than memorize. So, she tried to put us group and play a game that students can learned knowledge from it.
After all , this is a great semester for me even we have to face COVID-19 but I am enjoy this class. Hope see all of you at ESL 23.

Aloha Joseph,
You are one of the classmates that I enjoy chatting with most ^_^, and we were usually in same group discussion :D. I hope you don’t mind if I point out some grammar errors in your post.
1. We never use “be” with “main verb” because “be” is considered as a verb too and one simple sentence ONLY includes one main verb ( except when we list a group of action)
I think you may be confused with present continuous: he IS GOING to school —-> this one is totally different.
Example: “instructors are focus on” It should be “instructors focus on”
2. “Can” is ALWAYS followed by “bare infinitive”. It means that no “s” or “ed” after a verb.
Example: “can learned” it should be “can learn”
I didn’t mean anything but because we are friends, I want to help to with your English. Moreover, checking dictation is one of my weird interests, and I usually do it with my friends’ text and comments on FB :D. Plus, there are some more errors, but we can work on them in ESL 24 :D.
Do you feel happy when I spend more time leaving comments for you than others? kkkkkkkk

Wow! Nice work Nina! I think anytime we can help out our fellow classmates, it is a good thing because we learn the most from our mistakes. Maybe you should teach the class in the fall Nina!! Ha!

I could say that Grammar class is the one I enjoyed a lot, too, and I like Ms. Kym’s midterm about creating story by a picture using grammar rules. I think it was an interested one because it helped students like us could understand their imagination’s level π

Thanks for that Lam- I really like grammar- I wish we had more time to work on it though. 2 times a week for an hour and 15 minutes doesn’t seem like enough time…

Thank you Joseph! I’m glad that you enjoyed our grammar class. I like grammar similar to how some people like math- I find it really interesting and challenging. It has been great to have you in class this semester. You were our top scoring Kahoot player!!
